Originally from Concord, North Carolina, Mr. Hargett holds both a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science Degree in theatre from East Carolina University. His lengthy stage credits include Harold Hill in The Music Man and Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls. Film credits include Money Train (with Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson) and First Wives Club (with Goldie Hawn, Bette Midler and Diane Keaton).

In 1994, Mr. Hargett decided to leave the "lights of Broadway" to pursue a more stable vocation where his background and talents could be utilized. Because of his love of travel, Jeff pursued an internship at Marriott International's Northeast Regional Reservation Center in Somerset, New Jersey. He became Lead Trainer at this facility, which employed 100 agents and averaged more than 10,000 calls per day.

With the addition of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, LLC to the Marriott family, Mr. Hargett became Reservations Supervisor at The Ritz-Carlton, New York in 1996. Since then, he has had the pleasure of working with the ladies and gentlemen of The Ritz-Carlton, Cancun and The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua as Reservations Manager; The Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland as Director of Training and Development; and The Ritz-Carlton Hotels of New York as Director of Training and Organizational effectiveness. In 2006, Jeff transitioned into his current position with The Ritz-Carlton Leadership Center.

Each year, Training Magazine ranks the top training organizations. The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company was #10 out of the Top 100 in 2004. In 2005 ... #9; in 2006, #4, and in 2007, Jeff has been part of the team that has lead The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company to be recognized as the #1 Training Organization out of the Top 125. In 2008, The Ritz-Carlton Leadership Center was inducted into Training Magazine's Hall of Fame.

As an internationally recognized presenter for The Ritz-Carlton Leadership Center, Mr. Hargett has brought the culture of The Ritz-Carlton to over 10,000 people along with sharing his support and belief in this great company.
