Thriving for Mastery to Overcome Self-limiting Attitudes

Lenell Geter inspires people to conquer doubt and lack of confidence, because self-limiting attitudes reduce your potential to the size of your comfort zone.

But why do people listen to Lenell Geter? His system for overcoming self-limiting attitudes stem from what he learned from personal experiences and its use in businesses, education and families.

In 1982, Lenell faced what every person fears; he was falsely accused, convicted, and imprisoned for aggravated robbery, a crime he did not commit. Even though his whereabouts were corroborated by colleagues and coworkers, Lenell was sentenced to life imprisonment.

After 16 months in a stringent Texas correctional facility, Lenell walked out a free man! With prayer and help from the NAACP, some unexpected allies like CBS's 60 Minutes, and local media, Lenell claimed victory over a powerful institution that sought to end his life as he knew it!

After living through, what he calls, his 'Texas Nightmare', Lenell has emerged a stronger and wiser man than ever before. His story has been retold countless times on CBS, NBC, and ABC television stations and in a made-for-TV movie called "Guilty of Innocence: The Lenell Geter Story."

His co-workers, friends and family members never gave up hope that Lenell would clear his name. They held many fund-raisers, met with attorneys, and made themselves available to the media to help expose his travesty of justice. He credits, "faith in God" as his miracle that shined brightly through his darkest and most painful hour of despair, which enabled him to stand up for justice during a cold, cruel, and dangerous life in the Texas Department of Correction.

The author of the book "Overcome, Succeed and Prosper", Lenell has shared his "Five Attitudes for Success" across the country and has risen to become a motivational speaker of national acclaim. He was a professional member with the National Speakers Association. He has been honored for his talents and abilities and has received the Key-To-The-City from several areas where he has worked.

Lenell has appeared as a guest on CBS, NBC and ABC television networks; he has been written about in People Magazine, Lawyer Magazine, Texas Monthly, Jet Magazine and scores of newspapers. He has appeared the NBC Today's Show and ABC's Nightline.

He is ready today to share his insights... at your business, church, organization, college or university!
