His track record of success has been earned in a variety of situations ranging from start-ups businesses and turnaround situations; to mergers and acquisitions; to growing in mature markets. This time has been spent as both a systems integrator and a manufacturer in the technology sector.
He counts as a career hightlight leading the sales and implementation team for the world-wide sponsor of AV technologies used to deliver the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Working with VANOC, all levels of government, sponsors and other stakeholders was a daunting task with 4 years of preparation compressed into 17 days of unparalleled delivery excellence.
Jim is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and Queens University's Executive Program. This academic experience provides the foundation for his professional success.
In his 'spare time' Jim is an avid sportsman and he is currently authoring a book on leadership which is tentatively titled "For such a time as this" which is due to be published in 2012.
