Tanya has been writing since she was a child and later wrote plays, poetry, film and television scripts. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Temple University, Tanya dreamed of becoming the female Spike Lee. However, fate had other plans and she instead became a reporter. Afterwards still searching for purpose Tanya worked as a temporary employee mostly as an administrator but when a friend asked her to do a workshop on communications at a halfway house for offenders Tanya found her passion; public speaking. Since then Tanya T. has become a leading authority in leadership and personal development. Tanya T. is a Philadelphia native and is regarded as one of the most engaging and powerful speakers on the speaking circuit today.
