For more than 25 years, Tabatha Coffey has worked as a hairdresser and educator around the world. Her resume reads like the biography of a born stylist. From the beginning of her career when she was 14 in her native Surfer's Paradise, Australia, to her appearance as the "Fan Favorite" on Bravo's hit series Shear Genius, Coffey has devoted her life to the art of hair. Throughout her successful career, Coffey has worked with a who's who of the industry in Australia, Great Britain and the United States and has continuously developed and fine-tuned her skills as an artist, educator and business owner. Coffey trained and worked at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in London before venturing to New York to continue to develop her passion for hairdressing.

In 2001, Coffey opened Industrie Hair Gurus, a successful east coast salon, where she continues to lead a staff of hairstylists and colorists servicing a large and loyal clientele. Coffey also styles clients at the Warren-Tricomi salon in West Hollywood on a regular basis. From 1997 to 2008, Coffey represented Joico, an international product company, as a key member of the Artistic Team. In addition to traveling around the world to educate stylists and represent the company at hair shows, Coffey created incredible hairstyles featured in national advertising and trend collection imagery. Coffey also works regularly as an editorial stylist for top fashion and beauty publications, including Seventeen, Marie Claire and Mademoiselle, and she has worked backstage during New York's Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.

Most recently, Coffey used her years of hands-on experience and love of her craft to help struggling salon owners turn around their businesses in the hit Bravo series, Tabatha's Salon Takeover. Next on her busy agenda, Coffey plans to launch her own hair care line for consumers. With her signature edgy style, youthful energy and exceptional skills as an artist and educator, Tabatha Coffey is without question the industry's leader and golden girl.
