Katy Abram loved being a mom & wife. She was never a political activist nor did she have any intention to be. Like much of the rest of us, she loved her country and simply lived her life.
It wasn't until it was apparent that the country was coming apart at the seams with massive debt and uncontrollable spending that Katy decided to attend a town hall meeting to speak to Sen. Arlen Specter (sometimes Democrat, sometimes Republican) and ask a few questions. That was her only intention - to just get some answers.
Katy received thunderous applause when she stated that she didn't want her country being dismantled and turned into a socialist country. Without realizing it, Katy was speaking for every outraged American who wanted the opportunity to say the same things to their deaf and blind representatives in government.
Little did Katy know exactly how correct she was when she said "You have awakened the sleeping giant." She was instantly a national news media sensation and quickly became one of the few faces of private citizens in the nationwide movement to stop an out of control government.
Katy is still a devoted mother and wife, but she's doing everything she can to utilize her sudden "fame" to promote the causes of smaller and more limited government, accountability by our representatives and educating America on why it's important to return to the teaching of our founders. She invites Americans to step outside of their comfort zone and wake up more people to the corruption in government.
