Billie Mintz
Billie Mintz is the president of Artists Raising Consciousness Inc. (ARC Institute), a social media company formed in 1999 with a mission to identify issues in our society that were not being addressed to their full potential. ARC helps corporations, NGO's and social innovators tell their stories of profound change and extraordinary leadership in ethical civic engagement. By utilizing a non-traditional storytelling practice to advance awareness of social issues through the creation of specifically tailored films, ARC's purpose is to create new avenues for philanthropic progress through social media strategies.
When Mintz began telling stories, professionally, over fifteen years ago he had the seeds of ARC in his mind. Through successful award winning documentaries, short films and animation projects, Mintz has nurtured his love of storytelling and ten years after the birth of ARC, has become an expert in the field of Corporate Social responsibility, Advomentaries and a contributor in the advancement of social causes through all forms of social media.
Billie is a member of the Canadian Actor's Union (ACTRA), the Directors Guild of Canada (DGC), and the Canadian Film and Television Producers Association (CFTPA). He has been the recipient of prestigious grants from BravoFACT!, CIFVF, Canada Council, and Ontario Arts Council.
