Tara Gupta, President of Comprehensive Training Solutions, was born, raised and educated in India. She has a Masters Degree in English Literature and completed her IATA/UFTAA Advanced Diploma from Leysin, Switzerland. She is Adjunct Faculty for the Travel Careers at Foothill College, Los Altos, CA and Training & Marketing Consultant (Indian Sub-Continent) for The Travel Institute. As an author, Tara's book "51 Secrets of Success for the Travel Consultant" was recently published. She has also co-authored "Destination Specialist - India" courseware for Travel Agent Certification (published by The Travel Institute). Tara has written several articles for IATAN Network and has been quoted in several Travel Industry publications.
As an active board member for PATA San Jose Chapter, Tara plans trainings and programs for the Chapter. A member of several other Bay Area Travel Organizations and groups, Tara regularly conducts events and workshops.
