She started her speaking and consulting business in 1998 after a successful career working in sales and marketing for the United States Steel Corporation. Lois feels that once you've cut your business teeth on steel, nothing else is as tough! Clients have adopted her philosophy of concept and outcome marketing and selling to successfully grow their businesses.

Lois' consulting practice has many top-notch professional speakers as clients. These entrepreneurs sought out Lois' advice and experience to help them grow their speaking practices. Jack Canfield of "Chicken Soup" fame is a client, syndicated columnist, Jeffrey Gitomer, Patricia Fripp, Karyn Buxman and many others whose names you may not recognize but who are doing very well in the speaking business.

Her expertise in selling, positioning and branding led her to be called upon to participate in programs for businesses including her own trade organization, the National Speakers Association. In fact, the NSA asked her to present a many of it's own national conventions as well as sending her to every member chapter in the United States. The Canadian Asdociation of Professional Speakers has had her present at national conventions as well as several chapters. Her programs all rate among the best attended during the year. She has twice been faculty at the International Center presenting on sales and marketing. Many call her "The Speaker's Speaker"!
