Kim Ratz
Following a successful 20 year career as a director of community education for school districts and educational organizations in Oregon, Alaska and Minnesota, Kim is now nearing his 20th year in his 2nd career as a speaker, trainer and troubador. Kim specializes in sharing his expertise in "Attitude Management," Communication and Relationships skills through keynotes and seminars that consistently achieve three important outcomes:
1) Kim inspires people to want to do better in their important life roles and goals.
2) Kim motivates people to take action by helping them strengthen key skills and techniques that help them live more congruently and how they communicate and relate with others.
3) Kim delivers the program in a way that keeps their attention so there can be retention later when it's needed - by sharing oringial music, stories and humor to keep the program fun and people engaged.
Kim's main points:
• It's about choices - what you do and how you do it, what you say and how you say it - that largely determine if at the end of the day when you look back on those choices you feel content, or regret. Choose to be congruent by aligning your Attitudes, Aptitudes and Actions, so you do what you think is the right/best thing for you to do, and you do your best. What else could you or anyone else ask of you than that?
• It's also about relationships, as it's difficult for almost anyone to achieve their life roles and goals without having to interact and communicate well with others. Apply the discipline of congruence to how you choose to relate to people so that at day's end you again feel content, and not regret ...
His primary audiences are people who work in the broad fields of lifelong learning - early childhood, k-12 and post secondary, and other "helping professions" - human and community services, healthcare providers, other nonprofits & service agencies, etc. His keynotes and workshops are shared through staff inservices, as well as association conferences. His many satisfied and repeat clients range from the lower 48 states to Alaska and the provinces of Canada.
