Kevin Gilheany, a retired Coast Guardsman, knows that his style of leadership is what it takes to ensure success under the toughest conditions. Kevin shares, through real-life experiences, the leadership and management skills he developed in the U.S. Coast Guard and he demonstrates with thrilling accounts of adventure on the high seas, what it takes to ensure success.

At the age of 12, following a tour of the Coast Guard sailing ship, Eagle, Kevin knew what he wanted to do with his life. He fulfilled those dreams and much more. He sailed as a crewmember on the Eagle during his 20 year career and along the way fulfilled his other childhood dream to learn to play the bagpipe. In doing so, Kevin was able to leave a legacy on the Coast Guard by founding the U.S. Coast Guard Pipe Band during the final years of his military career.

After retiring from the Coast Guard as a Chief Warrant Officer in 2003, Kevin started a maritime consulting business, which he has grown into a firm with a world-wide reputation for excellence.  He has helped many companies develop the leadership and management skills necessary to increase profitability by implementing successful programs.

Whether the critical missions involve personal or business goals, Kevin shares what it takes to ensure personal and professional success.
