AZ, USI founded Nutrition Concepts, Inc. in response to the growing health crisis in the United States. My personal experience of losing my mom to cancer in 1998 motivated me to learn more about the relationship between nutrition and disease. Through my schooling, I learned that over 75% of illness and disease is a direct result of diet and lifestyle choices. My learning escalated into a passion to help as many people at possible learn how they can lower their risk of disease, stay healthy and have the energy they desire for a lifetime. For the past 11 years, I've has taught on the relationship between nutrition, wellness and disease and is passionate about helping clients lead the healthiest lives possible. I'm particularly concerned about the growing health crisis among children in America and the impact that food choices have on their health, development and learning.
Through wellness coaching and nutrition education seminars, I'm dedicated to improving the health of children and families across America. My unique teaching style of utilizing a "visual classroom" grabs the audiences' attention in a way they'll be sure to remember! I speak to audiences of all types - young, old, career professionals, stay-at-home moms, retired - any audience that wants to know what it takes to eat healthy for life will benefit from my seminars and workshops. I'm a Certified Wellness Coach, an active member of the National Assocation of Nutrition Professionals and holds a Master's of Science degree in Holistic Nutrition.
