Ardena Flippin

Dr. Ardena L. Flippin is a Professional Health Coach and real-life ER doctor who graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School (Minneapolis, Minnesota). She completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Chicago (Billings Hospital), and received her MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business (Executive program).

Dr. Flippin, a retired emergency medicine physician, retains clinical privileges at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County (formerly Cook County Hospital). She is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine Rush College of Medicine. The majority of Dr. Flippin's clinical medicine experience has been within public hospital systems. She currently consults  to a university to educate  healthcare executives in Innovations in Healthcare.

Dr. Flippin has delivered presentations to:

• University of Illinois at Chicago

• CAN-TV Chicago, Illinois

She:

• Delivered formal lectures to medical students, residents and faculty, and authored chapters in peer-reviewed emergency medicine procedure books.
• Serves as a Medical Ambassador for the American Cancer Society (Illinois Division)

Dr. Flippin is a member of the National Speakers Association, American Medical Association, National Medical Association and Toastmasters International. She serves on not-for-profit boards and is a member of a Midwest college Board of Trustees, as well as the Chicago Illinois Chapter of the Links (Links, Inc.). Besides professional speaking, her interests are skiing, reading, gardening, travel and physical fitness.
