Martz Witty

Martz Witty

APS - New Zealand

CAN, NZ

The answer to business groups looking for inspiration and real value techniques that work. He uses real life examples to show what works and doesn't. Martz gives great take-home value.

Originally a Chartered Accountant Martz speaks from his wide and varied experience across many different industry and business types. He's owned 33 businesses to date, ranging from Chartered Accounting firms to public bars. Industries have spanned timber, kitchens and plumbing through to aerial topdressing and massage parlours (as an advisor - not a worker!).

Of the businesses Martz has owned most have been spectacular successes whilst a couple were sensational failures (or learning experiences). This all adds to the rich tapestry of stories that underly the desired teaching and knowledge through his deliveries.

Martz Witty has a sense of humour. This has kept him positive and upbeat in many not-so-positive environments. In enduring some aspects of business that others would have thrown their hands up in horror and given up - makes Martz a 'real-life' speaker and entertainer who can spell out the do's and don'ts - so his audiences can feel totally connected with his messages. Add to this mix his ability at having grown many businesses whilst raising his two sons as a solo father is a demonstration that work, pleasure and family commitment can all cohabitate.

His humorous approach to hard topics such as business growth, sales, wealth building and public speaking leaves his audiences comfortable receiving massive content and having been entertained along the way. 2007 saw the release of his first book in a series of four titled, "Hit the road running! - Gain more customers of the kind you want to have."

His core topics can be delivered as a keynote, seminar, workshop or breakout session.

His quick wit and natural impromptu ability lends well to MC and compere work. He lives by his late father's advice. "Don't forget to laugh at yourself, or you could be missing the joke of the century!"

Martz was awarded the Te Kahurangi Award 2012 - the highest award given by Professional Speakers Association of New Zealand.
