
Michael Seaton
Michael has spent his career creating strategy and driving tactics on both the client and agency side. His leadership in the digital world combines brand, direct, database and loyalty marketing with a deep knowledge of social media. He brings a multi-disciplinary approach with a foundation in data, measurement and analytics.
Michael is Director, Digital Marketing & Trade at Canada Post where he leads marketing strategy for the newly formed Digital Delivery Network with a mandate to transform and “digitize” the organization.
Previously, Michael was Director, Head of Digital Marketing and Accessibility Services at CNIB. His experience also includes over a decade as Director, Digital Marketing at Scotiabank where he pioneered the bank’s digital strategy. Michael has also held senior agency roles and is also founder and Principal of Level C Digital, a consulting practice that helps brands develop long-term marketing strategies. His work has been recognized with numerous national and international marketing awards throughout his career.
Michael is an active speaker and has educated global audiences with his two decades of leadership experience in the advertising, marketing & communications industry. He has served on the Board of Directors with the Canadian Marketing Association as well serving on Board of Directors with Association of Internet Marketing & Sales. He currently teaches Canada’s only Professional Certificate Course in Digital Marketing and his blog, The Client Side Blog, was listed as a Top Ten Must Read by Marketing Magazine.
