John worked for 14 years with Storm Lures, an international sporting goods firm, where he directed worldwide marketing and sales efforts. For retail giants like Wal-Mart, Bass Pro Shops and other national accounts, John and his team used unique guerrilla marketing strategies to create innovative success stories. He once led the team in taking a 20-year-old fishing lure with annual sales of <10,000 units to over 1 Million units.
