JAMES N. MORRISON
BACKGROUND
Jim is president of James N. Morrison & Associates, a speaking and leadership training organization.
Jim provides speeches and workshops to business and community groups on topics such as Succcess.Public Speaking Skills,Leadership Goal Setting, team building,and time management.
He is a member of the National Speakers' Association and NSA-Wisconsin Chapter which has honored him with the Chapter Member of the Year Award and the Spirit of Service Award for long standing contributions to professional speaking and the Wisconsin Chapter. He is currently the President Elect and will serve as President next year. He also received the Shining Star Award from United Way for having annually trained their loaned employees in speaking skills..
Jim is also an active businessman with experience in the electric utility and manufacturing industries, serving in various supervisory and management positions. Jim earned his B.S. in management from the University of Maryland, he is also a licensed real estate broker and a Registered Lobbyist.
He is a past president of the state's largest Optimist Club, a member of the Rotary and recently won an award from the Green Bay Chamber for volunteer activities. He serves on the Chamber Board and is Chair of the Public Policy committee. He also serves on the Community Development Authority for his community. Jim is also active in the music and entertainment field, having played in a "classic" rock band since 1961 and sings with the Dudley Birder Chorale.
