Magna established Proudly for Purpose with the aim to develop a platform for harnessing the collective consciousness of like-minded, foresight focused thought leaders, sustainability centric corporations and catalyst social entrepreneurs to lead the transition from a profit driven to a purpose driven economy.

In recent years it became evident that a new, more sustainable form of capitalism is needed to take business and the planet into the future. With integrated thinking on many an executive agenda and with the growing realisation that sustainability and sound governance is inseparable, it is time to repurpose the economy for the benefit of people and the planet.

In a quest to radically revise business' reason for existence, many initiatives from across the globe started exploring new forms of capitalism. Initiatives like Richard Branson's The B Team, The New Economics Coalition and Conscious Capitalism are working towards redesigning the economic system to better serve the planet and its people.

The problem with most of the existing initiatives are that they are merely talk shows, with very little evidence of real change and transformation taking place as a result of their existence.

Magna created the Proudly for Purpose platform to amplify the message of those working to build a sustainable economy and move the transition from a profit driven to a purpose driven economy with speed to scale. She echoes the well-known saying - "If not us, then who - If not now, then when!"
