Originally, John presented his book as a speaker at the 2010 Pacific Rim International Conference on Disabilities in Honolulu, Hawaii April 13, 2010.

 He has been a featured speaker at the Conference a total of four times, the most recent, October 2017.

John Hendry is a long-term school board trustee, author, outspoken advocate for children with special needs, entrepeneur, writer, and well travelled international speaker.
