I began my transportation career at age 17 as a part-time dockworker for Consolidated Freightways in Long Beach. I held more than 20 progressively responsible leadership positions in both sales & operations over my 15-year transportation career. I exited in 2005 as the Vice President of National Accounts after launching a West Coast expansion for a national carrier.
I began my entrepreneurial journey in 2005 as an insurance and financial advisor for New York Life. I finished my first full-year production in the Top 1% of all NYL Agents worldwide. In 2009, I launched an independent agency focused on teaching individuals, businesses, and agents strategies to achieve their personal & business goals. I left the financial service business after a life-changing experience coaching my son's youth football team. Ask me about that when we meet!
Following my desire to be a present father and my heart to provide a "Better Way" to lead my community's youth, I launched and scaled an i9Sports youth sports franchise in 2013. Our franchise received "Rookie of the Year" & "Operational Excellence" honors in our first year while expanding to 7 locations over the next 5 years. I served as the Vice-Chairman for the National Franchise Advisory Committee and openly shared our growth strategies with other franchise owners, which led to coaching multiple franchises and local businesses. In 2019, I sold my i9Sports franchise to one of my closest friends to launch Better Way Coaching & Consulting.
Better Way Consulting provides "Fractional VP of Sales & Operations" solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises that either don't need or could not justify adding additional executives to their existing team full-time. I am thankful to have served several enterprises over the years ranging from $1M-300M in sales, looking to grow through redefining, rebranding & rebuilding their brand based on their WHY! I currently serve as CEO & Chief Growth Consultant.
