Get inspired to improve your focus and performance in both your professional and personal life by a "Leader of Leaders", a former Navy Submarine Officer and highly successful serial entrepreneur
certified virtual presenter

The fatal flaw of a leader is their lack of self-awareness. He knows personally because he lacked it in the beginning of his career.

The growth of a company is limited by the growth of its leaders. He was unaware until he found out in depth what "he didn't know he didn't know".

And without non-negotiables to guide us in our personal lives, the risk for imbalance heightens greatly. He and his wife Kristi are the proud parents of six children and six grandchildren. He has "been there and done that" as it pertains to blending family and work and will pass on his greatest lessons learned to his audiences.

He has been nicknamed "Yoda" by his peers for his knowledge and wisdom. He is a lifetime learner, and has experienced significant highs and lows in his life which he openly shares with the audience in his humble and very personal way.

He served 6 1/2 years as a Navy Nuclear Submarine Officer and he spent 15 years in an advisory role, a "Leader of Leaders" at the Shelton Leadership Center at NC State University in Raleigh, NC. The Center is named for General H. Hugh Shelton who served as the 14th Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff for both President Clinton and President George W. Bush.

A highly successful serial entrepreneur, his businesses have generated over 1 billion in sales since their founding. His first company, the largest military recruiting company in the US has placed over 50,000 military veterans into industry. His second company was selected for the Inc. 500 list of fastest growing privately held companies (#163 on the list). He is currently the CEO of Gold Dolphins LLC, an entrepreneurial leadership, coaching, public speaking and consulting firm.

He is a contributor to Forbes, and his best-selling books, "The Second Decision; The qualified entrepreneur" and The Third Decision, The intentional entrepreneur are published by Forbes. He is the author of The Decision Series for Entrepreneurs and is currently working on the third book in the series, The Fourth Decision, the maximized entrepreneur.

He has been a member of Vistage (Global CEO Peer Group) in Raleigh, NC since 2004 and the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) since 1998. He has attended the EO Birthing of Giants program at MIT from 1999-2001, EO Advanced Business Program at MIT from 2006-2007 and EO London Business School in March 2015. Randy was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by Vistage in 2018.

He was awarded the 2011 Distinguished Alumni award at Miami University, for his lifetime achievements in his military and civilian careers, and was selected as a finalist for the Ernst & Young Carolinas Region Entrepreneur of the Year award, in 2001.

The Third Decision - Setting your Non-Negotiables in Your Personal Life

We all know what a wonderful experience it is to carry an entrepreneurial idea to fruition; it's what gets us up every morning. But if we're not careful, it can also be a curse. Our single-minded focus on that new idea or that next opportunity can cause us to forget about the other important aspects of our lives.

Some entrepreneurs and leaders are happy to live life only for the business, but many of us will one day look around and realize what we've been missing out on during...
