"Laura, I can't thank you enough for spending time with us yesterday. I have only gotten great feedback about our day and folks told me that it was "just what they needed". In fact, in my talk with you prior to you coming, I suggested that I was looking for a way to bring our "teams" together without some specific team building exercises... What I noticed yesterday, was a feeling of cohesiveness among our entire staff regardless of what "team" they were on." Britt Feldman - Fleet and Family Support Program Installation Program Manager Naval Air Station Bremerton
"Laura is a whole-person universe, magic making miracle." Kit Hughes, Seattle
"Laura is a little dynamo, full of life, wisdom and inspiration. People came away from her talk with life changing tools and a real feeling of empowerment." Wendy Rue - Soroptimist International

SOME OF LAURA'S KEYNOTE ADDRESSES:
"When the Cake Hits the Floor"
Tough times. All eyes are on you - whether they belong to a bunch of six year olds or to your entire team. While we can't always bypass setbacks (and might be tempted to run away), we can sometimes do what we have not seen done before. Laura's story inspires leaders and decision-makers to connect with what really matters and to quickly implement daring solutions that will determine whether an apology or a standing ovation is in order.
Key themes: inspiring leadership, creative problem solving, out-of-the-box thinking, crisis management.
"It's Not the Size of the Ice Cream Cone"
We may not always have the resources that we want to play the game, but we often have the opportunity to change it - sometimes in unusual ways.
Laura shares a personal story that reminds us that there is always a way.
Key themes: competition, creative problem solving, out-of-the box thinking, empowerment, game changing.
"Oprah and the Chocolate Cookies"
This keynote ties two themes together: missing a "once-in-a-lifetime" opportunity because we are so focused on our day-to-day operations ...and forgiving ourselves when that happens so that we may be available to the next one.
Key themes: big-picture-thinking, recognizing opportunity, effectiveness of forgiveness.
"Ask Laura"
Laura brings her characteristic warmth and humor to this fun and inspiring ninety-minute event designed to spark connection and conversation not just between Laura and the audience but between the participants as well. Expect the occasional "I don't know. What do YOU think?" as well as some provocative door openers.
SOME OF LAURA'S PROGRAMS AND BREAKOUTS
"Yes!"
Laura's very personal answer to: how does this whole "life thing" work?
Through intimately sharing what she has found to be the foundation for her own inner peace and happiness, Laura fosters the participants' desire and ability to explore their own.
"Lighten Up!"
Permanent tools for clear desks, hearts and minds
Whether she addresses a room full of parents, the US Navy or a group of business executives, Laura's Lighten Up! program is an experience that melts away stress and invites clarity - at work, and at home."Moving Up!"
"Moving Up!"
PGetting clear on what you and the people in your life really want.
A distinction that will change your life - and your business
In order to reach our goals, we first need to be clear on what we want. In order to connect with others in a productive way, we need to be clear on what they want. With so many choices available to us, it is increasingly important to have tools that allow us to make major (and less major) life decisions by cutting through the information-overload, expressing what is most important to us, and allowing us to feel great about our decisions.
Meet Laura
Laura was born outside of Paris in the mid 60's and moved to the United States the day after graduating from high school.
Because she says "yes" to life a lot, the next decades were painted many varied colors, including being a makeup artist for the movies industry (and Playboy magazine), raising goats, being a "laundry fairy" and starting what would become an award-winning French bakery - not knowing how to bake.
As a single mom to three spirited children, she has also learned many ways to keep life happy and rich, even during times when money was scarce and stress knocking hard at the door.
In the last seven years, she has shared with the world her contagious enthusiasm and her message that "life does not have to be hard," as well as the tools to back it up. With warmth, intense attention and humor, Laura reaches out to her audience and shares with them her non-intrusive spirituality, life expertise and unusual tools. Whether her words are packaged in a keynote address or an ongoing program, she leaves people not only inspired but with the concrete means to do something about it.
Through personal stories and with a slight French accent, she expertly tackles the subjects of dreams, goals, clutter, bottom lines, clarity, parenting, entrepreneurship and cakes eaten off the floor. Laura is also a life coach, the host of "Chez Laura Radio" and the author of "Pink Hair & Chocolate Cookies."
Laura lives on a beautiful island in Washington state with her three children and a small ménagerie.
Her clients include Soroptimist International and the US Navy.
