Myra has been an active leader in chambers of commerce and other trade associations in Virginia, Kentucky, and Louisiana. She is a professional member of the National Speakers Association and served as the Association's New Orleans-region Chapter President in 2009. She currently serves as President of the National Association of Women Business Owners - New Orleans chapter.
She was recognized as an "Honorary Kentucky Colonel" for her work in civic leadership. She was also honored by the U.S. Small Business Administration as the "Women in Business Champion of the Year" for her service to entrepreneurs in the State of Louisiana.
