Are you noticing conflicts in or between teams in your organization? Benefit from Steve's learnings from many years in IT on what it takes to have a thriving, healthy, supportive team environment.

Are you noticing conflicts in or between the teams in your organization? Do team meetings sometimes have an uncomfortable or tense atmosphere? More than any policy, process, framework or methodology, it is the team dynamic and culture that 'pulls it off' for a project or goal at the end of the day.

Steve has worked for most of his career in Information Technology and has been involved in countless projects both large and small, some of which were incredible challenging and complex. He is a big believer in elevating the importance of having a keen awareness of what it takes to have a healthy team environment that is:
• Supportive,
• Thriving
• Enjoyable
• Context AWARE

Steve is a proven leader, management consultant and senior project / program manager. His speaking style makes audiences and clients feel comfortable. He worked for Microsoft over 12 years eventually becoming a Principal strategy and consulting lead, helping large organizations develop and implement their IT vision and strategies.

He has worked with governments and blue-chip companies across many industries and sectors. He spends his time now as a project / program manager and sharing his experiences and philosophy on the topic of teams. He is also a musician, songwriter and composer. In his past, Steve has written a musical and was once an actor / improvisor.

Steve developed a reputation for building and contributing to a great team culture and environment. He has no ego when it comes to being open about his strengths and weaknesses. He does not claim to have all the answers but will provide valuable insights and examples from his vast experience to help you spotlight what is needed for your team – either to address current challenges or optimize what you already have.

Steve has a manta to encourage the concept of being Context Aware. Being aware of the context of a situation or a piece of information leads to better decisions and more appropriate responses to situations. This is true about so many aspects of life and it is an especially important part of what makes a strong and thriving team work well and achieve success.

Now after many years in the IT industry he is sharing his experiences on how groups and organizations can build a strong, collaborative, supportive and enjoyable team environment. His background and delivery style will help not only technology focused teams, but any team that is facing fast-paced, challenging or stressful projects.
